Tottenham desperately need to dispatch the Hammers

There’s no guarantee that Tottenham can go to West Ham and secure a victory on Saturday. Spurs certainly have the more talented squad, but you never know what might happen in a London derby. If Mauricio Pochettino’s squad is going to have a successful trip, they’ll need to take advantage of their talent.

Of course, Slaven Bilic and company will set up their squad to frustrate Spurs at every opportunity. The Croatian gaffer will look to learn from Swansea’s 0-0 draw with Tottenham last week. Expect West Ham to start a very conservative starting XI.

No matter how negatively Bilic might set his team up, there’s going to be a ton of emotion in the match. Both squads will need to be careful to keep their emotions in check. In particular, Tottenham youngsters like Eric Dier and Dele Alli will need to avoid getting caught up in extracurricular activities on the pitch.

If Tottenham can reduce this derby to an actual football match, they should be able to return home with all three points.
