Attacking Midfielder-Christian Eriksen

Not every Tottenham starter was forced into action against Barnsley. Christian Eriksen got the day off against the Tykes which means he’s an absolute lock to start against West Ham.

Spurs will certainly need his attacking talents to break down the Hammers’ defense. He’s a threat to score a goal, but is even more dangerous with his pinpoint passing ability. Look for him to play a very energized match this weekend after being given some much-needed rest.

Attacking Midfielder-Dele Alli

I can hardly wait to see what hand gesture Dele will make this weekend. Honestly, does anyone really care if he cups his hands to his ears after he scores a goal? I certainly am happy to see him make (almost) any hand gesture he’d like if he keeps finding the back of the net.

It will be interesting to see whether or not the talented midfielder can build off his performance against Barnsley. It wasn’t a great performance by Dele’s standards, but he did score the winning goal. You can be certain he’ll take another ho-hum performance on Saturday if he can help his team come away with three points.
