Group B

Celtic 0 Paris Saint Germain 5

PSG’s new Galactico front three made their debut in the Champions League and could not have been more destructive.  Each of the three got on the score sheet with Neymar instrumental in the finishing and creating of said goals.  Unfortunately the evening was slightly tainted by the fact that Celtic had a hooligan run onto the field to try to attack Kylian Mbappe.

Bayern Munich 3 RSC Anderlecht 0

Bayern Munich began their campaign by silencing a lot of the troubling news coming out of Bavaria this week.  Despite Robert Lewandowski’s public comments and the clubs stance towards them Europe’s most complete natural center forward was dominant and on the score sheet.  Carlo Ancelotti has not had the most comfortable past few weeks but a few more performances like this and people will remember that he is one of the most successful managers in the history of European football despite the fact that he has enough gentlemanly graciousness to not act like a toddler about it.
