Anthony Georgiou-5

The Spurs Academy product only got a few minutes of playing time, but his appearance in the match is a terrific story. Not only is it good to see another youngster get a chance under Pochettino, but Georgiou also possesses Cypriot heritage. It was a banner day for the youngster even though he didn’t contribute much to the match itself.

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou-4

The young Frenchman got 20 minutes of playing time and contributed almost nothing. Surely he’s only a few opportunities away from being jettisoned in January.

N’Koudou needs to find a way to make his speed functional. If he doesn’t get the ball and put pressure on opposing defenders by running at them, he really isn’t worth much. The clock is ticking on his Tottenham career.

Fernando Llorente-6

While I was a bit surprised the Spanish striker didn’t find himself in the starting XI today, he did put in a solid shit from the substitute’s bench. His massive height gives his teammates an outlet at all times.

He also did a nice job of clearing a few balls away on the defensive end of the pitch. That’s an underrated part of Llorente’s game but is particularly useful for Spurs. Llorente would have liked to score a goal, but he gave Spurs some much-needed relief when he came on the pitch.
