Tottenham’s five signings have been a mixed bag

Daniel Levy got a lot of stick from Tottenham fans for leaving the club’s transfer business to the last-minute this summer. In the end, the club came away from the summer transfer window with five signings. The quintet have all had varying levels of contribution to Mauricio Pochettino’s project to date.

The purpose of this piece will be to rate each signing based on what he’s done so far in a Spurs shirt. I will not try to project what the player might become in coming years. That’s a job much better left to club officials who watch them train on a daily basis.

Instead, the focus here will be what each player has been able to contribute in his brief tenure. It’s entirely too early to draw lasting conclusions, but we can reasonably evaluate what they’ve done in a Spurs shirt so far.

Without further delay, continue on to discover which summer signings have really helped Tottenham and which have struggled to make a real impact. As you might expect, there’s a wide range in what the group has been able to accomplish.
