Tottenham’s top stars don’t get enough credit

Yesterday we took a look at Tottenham’s five most overrated players. Fortunately for Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs are also blessed with players who are underrated by fans and pundits alike. Today, we’ll take a look at five Spurs stars who don’t get enough accolades.

You might be expecting to read about some of the fringe players in the squad. Georges-Kevin N’Koudou might be better than most fans think, but he’s not on his list. Perhaps surprisingly,  this list is made up of five players who are regularly included in Pochettino’s starting XI.

The theme you’ll see here is that Tottenham’s top-shelf talent doesn’t get enough respect from fans and pundits around Europe. Much is made of the collective spirit Pochettino has built in North London, but he is blessed with quite a few players who could start for almost any club in Europe. Daniel Levy and the club’s scouting apparatus deserve credit for amassing a great deal of talent at Tottenham.

Without further delay, let’s delve into which Spurs stars deserve more glory than they currently get. That’s what the game is all about, right?
