5. Composure off the pitch.

In Rodgers’ final season and a half in charge of his team, his public responses to the struggles of his side didn’t help matters. Denial of issues was common in Rodgers’ press conferences, and despite some awful performances, he still offered praise to the “character” of the side.

His apparent disregard for the reality extended mockery of his side from on the pitch to off of it, and certainly did not help his cause.

Klopp, as most managers have, has been questionable at times, particularly with his statement that Moreno would be suitable at left back, but none of his claims are anywhere near deserving of mockery, as Rodgers’s often were.
