Left wingback-Ben Davies

The talented Welshman will try to bounce back from his international disappointment with a solid outing against the Cherries. Davies will try to continue the stellar start he’s made to the 2017/18 campaign.

Davies should have plenty of chances to make his way forward in this match. Pochettino will need him to create real width for the club’s attack. The more crosses he can fire into the box, the better off his club will be.

Right wingback-Kieran Trippier

This is the most challenging position to pick in the starting XI. Pochettino could really be torn between Trippier and Serge Aurier in this spot. Ultimately, I think he’ll go with the English international in this match.

Ironically, I’m going with Trippier here because I think Aurier will be needed against Real Madrid in the midweek. Trippier has the type of game to help against Bournemouth, but he might get torched against Los Blancos. Look for Trippier to play his usual, conservative match in an effort to keep the Cherries at bay.
