Striker-Harry Kane

Sitting Kane while he’s on such a hot run of form would be quasi-criminal. I suppose it’s possible you could see Fernando Llorente to start this match, but I’m going all-in on the idea that Pochettino will start the strongest lineup possible.

That inevitably includes Kane. He scored again for England on International Break to continue his white-hot scoring run. If he can put his club comfortably ahead in the first half of this match, look for Pochettino to wrap him in bubble wrap on the bench for the second 45 minutes.

Keeper-Hugo Lloris

Fortunately for Pochettino, he won’t need to think much about who to start in goal. Whenever Spurs really need to win a match, Lloris is going to be the starting keeper.

As usual, Lloris simply needs to make the routine play in this match. The Frenchman needs to avoid his occasional mental mistakes against the Cherries. He shouldn’t need to make any eye-popping saves, but you never know.
