Christian Eriksen-8

It wasn’t Eriksen’s best performance in a Tottenham shirt, but his goal was the difference in the match. His club could have easily limped to a draw without his classy finishing ability.

Eriksen contributed more than just his goal on the afternoon. He was hugely influential anytime Tottenham really looked as if they’d score a goal. He could have easily ended this match with an assist or two in addition to his goal.

Dele Alli-7.5

Some of you might be a little surprised to see me give Dele such a high rating since he didn’t create a goal or an assist. He gets a huge amount of credit for his tireless running during his time on the pitch.

The Englishman ran his socks off in this match. Yes, he may have tried too much trickery on the pitch, but I’ll always forgive him for being too aggressive. Time and time again he injected life into the Spurs attack during this match when it looked as if things could turn Bournemouth’s way.

Son Heung-Min-4

The Korean had an utterly forgettable performance against the Cherries. Heading into the match, I was optimistic he’d thrive playing alongside Harry Kane, Eriksen and Dele. Son completely failed to take advantage of his massive opportunity.

The simple truth is that Son doesn’t contribute much when he can’t find the back of the net. He certainly didn’t create any sort of scoring opportunities for his club in this one. Son put in a luxury performance that his club could barely afford.
