Harry Kane-9.5

It wasn’t a perfect match for Kane, but it wasn’t that far off either. Two goals and one assist is a pretty good return for a striker against any opponent.

In a lot of matches, Kane terrorizes the opponents with his constant movement off the ball. That wasn’t really the case against Liverpool. Spurs were content to sit back and wait to hit the Reds on the counter attack.

That placed a great deal of pressure on Kane to convert the chances provided to him. Simply put, his clinical finishing completely changed the complexion of this match. Kane is the best striker in the Premier League and it’s time for the rest of the world to notice.

Son Heung-Min-8

This was the South Korean forward’s best match of the season. His speed and skill on the ball made him a nightmare for Liverpool to defend on the break. He was the perfect player to deploy next to Kane in this match.

He managed to find the back of the net once, but was inches away from scoring a brace. Son almost blew the match wide open if not for hitting the wrong side of the bar. The talented forward was only able to muster 70 minutes of play, but his contributions were crucial for the victory.
