The NFL and the Premier League are two of the most popular sports leagues in the world. Which NFL team corresponds to which Premier League team?

The worlds of the NFL and the Premier League are ever drawing closer. They are two of the biggest, most profitable leagues in world sport and dominate the sports news coverage in their respective countries.

As soccer grows in America more and more kids are growing up with favorite EPL sides. Inevitably they are drawn to the successful teams of the current era – Manchester City and Chelsea – but you will also find brand new Everton, Leicester and Tottenham fans everywhere you go.

The NFL has always had its fans in the UK. But now with 10 years of NFL games played in London the sport has grown beyond a niche market. The games at Wembley and Twickenham sell out in record time and interest is growing into the whole sport. The NFL has actually invested in Spurs’ new stadium to include retractable turf that is more suitable for football.

There was a time when British interest in the NFL was limited to staying up to 3am to watch the Superbowl once a year. Now there is huge appreciation for the regular season, the draft process and a growing number of Fantasy Football players.

To celebrate this growing love between the two sports we have taken the 20 current Premier League sides and matched them with NFL counterparts. Some of these comparisons will be historic and others will be very current. We put them in order of their current EPL position.
