16. West Ham = New York Jets

These teams are set in the big market glamor of London and New York. And that is where the mystique ends. Both sides have been saddled with the expensive contracts of old stars and need to find a way to get younger and faster.

While the Jets have exceeded (very low) expectations this season they are going nowhere with the Patriots watching. West Ham have begun worse that almost all pundits predicted (though not me).

15. Swansea City = Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Bucs are owned by the Glazer family who also own Manchester United but the Bucs are not in the same stratosphere as their EPL cousins. Swansea City want to do the right things. They want to pass the ball and they want to get forward.

However that leads them to be bullied by more physical teams. Tampa have a ton of nice pieces on offense but cannot get in the trenches with the toughest teams in the league. Both sides needs to get stronger if they want to progress.

14. Leicester City = New York Giants

They’ve both won the big one. And no-one quite knows how. They both sacked their title-winning coach (at least) a season too early and now are drifting aimlessly towards sub mediocrity. They both still have rosters that many of their contemporaries are jealous of.

Looking at the talent on the teams they both came into this season with expectations of challenging much higher than they currently find themselves.

13. West Bromwich Albion = Baltimore Ravens

They are going to be the same every year. They will try to grind you into submission. Designed to frustrate all your offensive plans and schemes and hope they can get another scores on the board to still the win.

There is nothing sexy about West Brom and the Ravens. They are well run. Sensible. They get it done. You aren’t backing them for the title anytime soon but you avoid betting against them on a weekly basis.
