Which NFL franchise matches your Premier League team?

12. Brighton & Hove Albion = Tennessee Titans
Teams on the rise after years of blah-ness. They are scraping their wins together from teams that aren’t very good. They are not risk taking teams. Built more for the physical sides of their respective sports than for finesse and skill.
Both are quietly having decent seasons. Brighton could not have hoped to be higher than 12th with a quarter of the season played. The Titans are also hovering round the .500 mark which maybe enough to win their division.
11. Huddersfield Town = Carolina Panthers
The Panthers are an expansion team and recently new to the NFL. Huddersfield Town are brand new to the Premier League but are playing like they have been there for years. Both sides have good-natured, smart bespectacled coaches.
While Huddersfield have the industry and craft of Aaron Mooy leading them the Panthers look to Luke Kuechly as their defensive leader. These teams lean towards the defensive side of things but they have enough explosive offensive power to give anyone a game.
10. Southampton = Cincinnati Bengals
Are Southampton going to come 8th, 9th or 10th? There are no other options. Will the Bengals get an 8-8 record or a 7-8 record? They are those kinds of teams. Well run, not impulsive with good scouting systems. They struggle because other teams nick their best coaches and biggest players. Nobody hates Southampton or the Bengals outside of their local rivals (Portsmouth/Bournemouth & Steelers/Browns). In fact the average fan barely considers them at all.
9. Liverpool = Green Bay Packers
This season was meant to be a lot better than it is. Key injuries (Aaron Rodgers & Sadio Mane) have put a cap on the attacking potential of these stacked offenses. Neither side has anything resembling a defense.
Both the teams are historic greats that have had precious little success in the last 20 years. They both have fanatical supporters and pride themselves on being teams ‘of the people’. The reality is they are just as much part of the corporate money machine as the next team.
