Tottenham head to Manchester United without their brightest star

Manchester United host Tottenham in this weekend’s most intriguing Premier League fixture. Unfortunately for fans of captivating football, Spurs will head to Old Trafford without the services of star striker Harry Kane.

Mauricio Pochettino won’t let his squad make any excuses though. The Argentine gaffer will expect to go toe-to-toe with Jose Mourinho’s squad no matter who is or isn’t available. Spurs will be looking to steal three points at Old Trafford.

Of course, that task would have been easier with Kane in the lineup. He’s one of the world’s top strikers and he’s a gigantic miss in such an important fixture. Pochettino will be forced to adjust his lineup to make up for his absence.

The easiest way for Pochettino to adjust, would be inserting Fernando Llorente into Kane’s place in the lineup and leaving everything else the same. That won’t be enough to undo Mourinho’s sturdy defense. Instead, look for Spurs to make several tweaks to their lineup to catch United off guard. Read on to discover how Tottenham will line up tomorrow against the Red Devils.
