Manchester United v Tottenham: How Spurs will line up without Harry Kane
Keeper-Hugo Lloris
There’s been a lot of chatter on social media over whether or not Lloris is, or is not, a world-class keeper. I’m not sure if he really deserves that moniker, but he’s clearly the best option at Spurs.
If he’s fit, he’s a lock to be in the starting XI. Spurs fans will hope he doesn’t have to show the full range of his shot-stopping capabilities in this match.
Bench-Son Heung-Min, Moussa Sissoko and Danny Rose
As I mentioned before, Son has a real chance to start this match. Assuming he doesn’t, it’s almost a certainty that he’ll be the first attacker off the bench. He’ll want to use his pace and trickery to take advantage of a fatigued United defense.
Sissoko will feel slighted not to start, but it’s unlikely that Dembele is going to last a full 90 minutes of a frenetic match. Without Victor Wanyama in the squad, Sissoko is the best option to replace him.

Rose is a bit of a wild card selection, but I could see him providing support in either the back line or midfield in this match. Frankly, the former is the more likely option. Georges-Kevin N’Koudou’s comical display against West Ham will give Rose the chance to play further up the pitch.
