It is clear now that Anthony Martial is not happy about the way he is being used by Jose Mourinho at Manchester United. After leading the team in goals during his first year at Old Trafford under Louis Van Gaal, he has been relegated to a rotational player. In order to see more regular playing time, here are five teams that could take him:

1. Arsenal

If he stays in England, I think the Gunners would certainly be interested. Alexis Sanchez has not played well this season as his departure seems inevitable. With just two goals in all competitions, he actually equals that of the much maligned former Gunner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Sanchez has issues with longtime manager Arsene Wenger and either this winter or next summer Sanchez seems bound to sign with Premier League rival Manchester City or perhaps go to continental power Paris Saint-Germain.

Naturally if Sanchez leaves, Martial would fit the bill as a replacement. He’s young, fast and has shown an ability to finish. I think he’d fit in well with new addition Alexandre Lacazette, who leads the team with six goals in the Premier League.

The last time these two swapped a major player Robin Van Persie went from North London to Manchester. In just three years with United Van Persie scored 48 goals, half of his total with Arsenal (96) in just 86 games. He played 194 games with Arsenal. Perhaps this would be another good opportunity for these two teams to make a deal as Martial is not being used to his potential and Arsenal could use him.
