With Kylian Mbappe now at PSG, Monaco is playing catch up after last year’s Ligue 1 title and run to the Champions League semi-finals. Martial used to play for Monaco before coming to United so a reunion could be in order. I think the club could be looking for an upgrade from Stevan Jovetic. It is possible that they could catch PSG. They are just four points behind and don’t have quite the questions on the back-end their rivals do.

Right now, Falcao has the highest percentage of his team’s goals in Ligue 1 with 38% (13 of 34. So bringing in a guy that can help take some of the pressure of him would be a good thing for the club. Moreover, the success that Memphis Depay has had since joining Lyon could tempt a club to bite on Martial. The former United man has eight goals in all competitions for club so far this season.

During his time at Monaco, Martial scored 11 goals in 27 games over two seasons. However, Leonardo Jardim sold him to United in the first place and may not want him back.
