Tottenham carry all the momentum into the North London Derby

There’s no question that Arsenal v Tottenham is the most intriguing Premier League tie of the weekend. Each bitter North London rival would like nothing better than to recover from International Break by smashing their neighbours.

Fortunately for Spurs, they come into this match with the lion’s share of the momentum. Mauricio Pochettino’s squad enters the fixture four points ahead of the Gunners in the Premier League table. Perhaps more importantly, Tottenham are assured of advancing to the Champions League Knockout Round while Arsene Wenger’s club continues to toil in the Europa League.

With all that being said, you can typically throw records out the window when these two clubs get together. The hatred between Arsenal and Tottenham is absolutely palpable. The Gunners will hope they can use the venom of the rivalry to power them to an unlikely victory.
