4. Christian Eriksen is on fire

If you don’t know exactly how dangerous Christian Eriksen can be, simply ask fans of the Ireland national team. The brilliant Danish attacker knocked them out of World Cup competition with a stunning hat trick during International Break.

Spurs fans know how good Eriksen can be when he finds a purple patch of form. They are optimistic he’s prepared to build off his brilliant Denmark play with a dominating effort against the hated Gunners.

Adding to the likelihood of Eriksen’s success is the frailty of Arsenal in the middle of the pitch. The combination of Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka has produced some moments of class this season, but has been far too inconsistent for Wenger’s liking.

The more Pochettino’s squad can get Eriksen on the ball with time and space, the more success they will have on Saturday. Arsenal lack the athletic midfielders necessary to shut him down. Count on Eriksen to be hugely influential in the Tottenham victory.
