Tottenham need three points from this North London Derby

Mauricio Pochettino knows he must select the perfect starting XI to leave the Emirates with three points tomorrow.  That’s going to leave the Argentine gaffer with a number of difficult choices to make.

The one certainty is that Pochettino will select a starting lineup that’s going all out for a win. Strangely, a draw would be quite a disappointing result for Spurs. Tottenham enter this fixture on the ascendancy while Arsenal are facing real questions about their future.

Of course, you can throw form out the window when these two bitter rivals get together. It’s a fixture that thrives on emotion and oftentimes, pure hatred. Pochettino needs to make sure he selects a team that can stay on the right side of that delicate balance between emotion and poise.

With that in mind, read on to discover the 11 players Pochettino will trust to start tomorrow’s North London Derby. In truth, it’s a solid reflection of what the club’s strongest capable starting lineup might be in the absence of Toby Alderweireld. The other 10 likely starters might play every match for Pochettino when fit.
