According to reports, Alexis Sanchez to PSG is back on following Neymar rumours

It won’t come as a surprise to Arsenal fans that today’s hottest transfer news is bad news for them. Bleacher Report have reported that the transfer of Alexis Sanchez to PSG could be back on.

The rumours have sparked from the shocking news that Real Madrid have been in contact with record signing Neymar. Having recently played for the Spanish counterparts Barcelona, this move will surprise many. Again, it only proves the Brazilian’s talents, as he will have played for three of Europe’s most elite clubs at the age of just 25.

He became the most expensive player in the world, by quite a large margin, when PSG obtained his signature from Barcelona in the shock move of the summer. With that being said, PSG are obviously against the move, as they won’t want to let their heavy investment leave this early on.

The Brazilian is one of the hottest players in Europe right now, contributing to a total of 22 goals in 15 appearances (14 goals, 8 assists). He’s certainly hit top gear, and it shows by PSG league standings, as they sit top of Ligue 1, 9 points ahead of 2nd placed Lyon.

However, if the French club do have to part ways with the silky Brazilian, they’ll have a worthy player available in the window, with Alexis Sanchez wanting out of Arsenal.

It’s been a fairly different start to the season for the Chilean, as he tallies 4 goals and 2 assists from 12 appearances across all competitions. Nevertheless, his talent can’t be denied, and he’s come up with the goods more often than not for Arsenal since his arrival.

This transfer will involve Real Madrid, again, should PSG wish to challenge them for the signature of the Arsenal man.

What do you think of this move? As an Arsenal fan, I’ve accepted that he no longer wants to be here, and I’d much rather lose Alexis Sanchez to PSG than a direct (and high-flying) rival Manchester City. I would love to hear your thoughts, so as always, remember to have your say in the comments section!
