Real Madrid are suffering this season and in a bad way.  The Champions League champions have made what would best be described as a stuttering start to the season and what would rudely be described as a hash of it.

Real Madrid being Real Madrid a lot of money is going to be spent this January and this summer.  Not just a lot of money though.  An exorbitant, gluttonous, oh-my-God-and-whatever-else amount of money is going to get spent.

The following transfer targets are players that Real Madrid have been rumored to be chasing and will go in for in January as well as in the summer if they don’t succeed. The Spanish giants are the wealthiest club in football by quite a large amount.  Perez has seen to the fact that there’s not a club besides on some day Manchester United that can compete with them economically.

The fact that Real Madrid are in 4th place and 8 points behind Barcelona at the moment means that a lot of other clubs in Europe will soon be sharing that wealth.
