Striker-Harry Kane

No surprise here. No matter what formation Pochettino chooses to employ, the choice of whom to start up top for Tottenham is elementary.

For what it’s worth, Kane looked very lively against Leicester last time out. Not only did he tally the club’s only goal against the Foxes, he also looked spry out on the pitch. That’s good news considering his recent injury history.

You also shouldn’t be surprised if Kane spends some time in the attacking midfield against Watford. He and Son like to exchange spots on the pitch, and that helps keep defenders off balance. Kane will start the match up top, but could easily see a lot of time in a more recessed role.

Keeper-Hugo Lloris

There’s no drama about Pochettino’s selection in goal either. When fit and firing, Lloris is an automatic selection here. Getting Michel Vorm or Paulo Gazzaniga some Premier League playing time sounds great in theory, but not when the stakes are this high.
