2. Roberto Firmino

When people think of the Premier League’s top forwards, Firmino rarely comes to mind. However, while his scoring record is not as impressive as those of other Premier League forwards, he remains an important player in Liverpool’s front line.

The Brazilian has thrived in his role as a false nine, and has been crucial to his side’s recent success. By leading a high press, and creating space for his teammates with his movement, Firmino has completely justified his starting position and recognition as one of the Premier League’s top forwards.

And while his goal tally is not as high as those of other forwards in the league, it is certainly respectable.

In the context of his role in Klopp’s system, he does his job as well as any other attacker.
