3. Bayern Munich v Tottenham Hotspur

I feel like this tie just has to happen. Bayern Munich probably have tickets prepared to visit North London, however with Arsenal not being a part of this years Champions League, they’ll just have to travel a few miles down the road to Wembley Stadium.

With the jokes aside, this game looks like an absolute treat. Bayern Munich are proven among Europe’s most elite, with Tottenham trying to achieve the same thing.

The thing which intrigues me most, is the fact that two of the best strikers in the world will face off, Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane. Both of which have had different starts to this campaign, with Robert Lewandowski scoring 3 in 5, and Harry Kane scoring 6 in 5.

Both teams are defensively stable, as well as having some quality on the attack, so I believe this game would come down to whoever wants it more. Bayern Munich would be clear favourites, however we’ve seen that Spurs are capable of surprising many.

My prediction

I really hope this is one of the results of the Champions League draw, it’s the tie I’m waiting on most as an Arsenal fan. I would have to go with Bayern Munich on this one, but whatever happens, just don’t lose 10-2, Tottenham.
