Centre midfield: Kevin de Bruyne
The Belgian is one of those who was guaranteed to be featured, it doesn’t even need an explanation. Well, I’ll give you one anyway, because what’s not to love about Kevin de Bruyne?
We often see him picking out the most unbelievable and absurd of passes, which are converted to assists more often than not. This isn’t his only strength, as under Pep Guardiola, he’s become a lot more defensively disciplined and his all-round play has drastically improved.
He’s the ‘one that got away’ from Jose Mourinho during his time as Chelsea boss, and he’ll be looking to come back and haunt the Portuguese boss at Old Trafford, just like he did at the start of last season.
He’s played incredibly well in his big games this season, most notably against the London teams Chelsea and Arsenal, but he’ll be hoping to maintain that form in the other side of Manchester.
