10. Wayne Rooney – Everton

Wayne Rooney just had to feature, didn’t he? The records speak for themselves, for as long as Rooney’s career continues, he should never be left out of a list of the best strikers in the Premier League.

In total, Wayne Rooney has scored 207 Premier League goals, behind only Alan Shearer. At the age of 32, he’s not showing any signs of losing his goal scoring touch. In the Summer, he earned a move back to his boyhood club Everton, where he has now made 15 appearances and scored 9 goals in the Premier League.

He’s scored all types of goals in his career – bicycle kicks, volleys, headers, penalties, free kicks, you name it and Wayne Rooney has scored it. He’s never failed to wow the commentators, and he still does that nowadays.

He’s Manchester United’s leading goal scorers, and having played with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard, you can see why he makes the list of the best strikers in the Premier League.
