7. Jamie Vardy – Leicester

Jamie Vardy was incremental to Leicester’s historic Premier League win. He holds the record for the most consecutive games with his name on the score sheet, that record being eleven. When you’re breaking Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record, it’s hard not to be featured in a list of the best strikers in the Premier League.

He’s struggled to live up to the expectation he set when the foxes lifted the Premier League, but any player would struggle with that. That’s not to say he’s been playing bad, he’s scored seven times and got an assist already this season.

Jamie Vardy is excellent on the counter attack, as his speed and spatial awareness allows him to pick out holes in the defence and exploit them. All that would be worthless without having the finishing to match, which the Englishman has.
