Erik Lamela-6

In retrospect, perhaps Pochettino should have made the bold choice and started Lamela. His tackling ability and willingness to hold up play in the midfield could have been quite useful for Spurs.

As it was, Lamela came into the fray much too late. Pochettino only saw fit to insert him into the match after 76 minutes had passed. He showed flashes of his quality in his cameo, but wasn’t given the opportunity to really impact the match’s result.

Moussa Sissoko-5

Other than picking up a yellow card, what did Sissoko really accomplish in this fixture? The Frenchman played roughly 10 minutes of pretty anonymous football. He may be on his way out of the club in January.

Ben Davies-Inc

I’m unclear as to exactly why Davies came on the pitch so late. Perhaps Rose was truly knackered and asked to be taken off the pitch. No matter the explanation, Davies wasn’t on the pitch long enough to do anything of real consequence.
