Harry Kane-5
Kane deservedly gets a pass from the Spurs fan base due to his brilliant play this season, but his outing against West Ham was a clunker. He gave it everything he had, but he just couldn’t get out of his own way.
Whether it was straying a step offside or getting the ball stuck under his feet, it just wasn’t Kane’s day. If he were playing his best football, he might have scored a brace in this one. As it was, he was a flailing striker who couldn’t really test Adrian at all. There will be better days ahead for the English striker but he’ll want to forget this match as soon as he can.
Hugo Lloris-6
This was a really hard rating to make. Lloris had absolutely no shot to stop Obiang’s blast into the top corner. Other than that, he barely had anything to do.
As such, I landed on a very clandestine six. Apologists for the French captain may feel aggrieved, but it’s hard to hand him an above average rating for contributing almost nothing.
