Attacking midfielder-Christian Eriksen

To say that Tottenham have missed Christian Eriksen in recent weeks would be a massive understatement. His absence from the Spurs lineup has left Pochettino’s attack without its creative soul.

Fortunately, his illness has subsided and he should be ready from the opening whistle against United. The more time Pochettino should get him on the ball, the better. Expect the talented Dane to be desperate to announce his return in a big way.

Attacking midfielder-Dele Alli

Dele will also be thrilled to play alongside Eriksen once again. He simply tried to do too much without his stylish number ten playing next to him. Pochettino will hope he will relax a little bit despite the big occasion against United.

That may be easier said than done. Dele will be desperate to play his best football against Mourinho and company. Pochettino will need to work hard to make sure Dele avoids trying to take the match over on his own. If he can stay within the team concept, he could put in an absolute brilliant performance.

Attacking midfielder-Heung-Min Son

Son bailed Tottenham out at Newport County with his amazing flick to set up Harry Kane’s goal. Spurs will hope the South Korean has another moment of brilliance in him against Manchester United.

Even if he can’t produce that sort of magic, he needs to make sure he runs his socks off. That includes troubling United’s back line and their attacking stars. Son’s defensive work rate will have to be significantly better than normal if Tottenham are going to come out on top.
