5. Can Foyth handle the occasion?

Juan Foyth hasn’t enjoyed as much playing time as he’d like this season, but the majority of his appearances lately have come in the FA Cup. The match at Rochdale may represent the young Argentine’s last opportunity to shine in the competition.

Playing at Rochdale will give Foyth a very intriguing mental challenge. He’ll need to tune out the noisy supporters and ignore the questionable pitch to put in a good performance. One mistake on this stage could drastically alter his long-term future at Tottenham.

Really all Foyth needs to do is avoid any obvious errors in the match. Playing next to someone like Alderweireld should keep the pressure squarely off of him. The less any Tottenham fan notices Foyth on the pitch, the better he’s played.

It will be quite interesting to see how Foyth performs in what could be his last start of the season.
