1. How will Lucas debut?

For me, this is the most intriguing aspect of the match. Tottenham only made one serious January purchase and it’s time to see what Spurs have on hand.

So far, Lucas has only managed to play in an exceedingly brief cameo at Juventus. Even in the course of just a handful of minutes, he did enough to make me optimistic of his ability to positively impact Pochettino’s squad.

Let’s not mince words though. He should be one of the best players on the pitch at Rochdale. Lucas is a player who is used to playing regular minutes in tense Champions League ties. A fifth round FA Cup matchup should be beneath his ultimate level at Spurs.

Still, he’s going to face some nerves playing with new teammates. Look for him to start out a bit unsure, but to really grow into this match. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see him end up as the Man of the Match once he settles into a groove.
