The Belgian striker has been in fine form since moving to Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
Chelsea are looking to improve their front line when summer comes around, due to fears Eden Hazard could leave Stamford Bridge, he may be joined by Michy Batshuayi. Christian Pulisic is one of many attacking options the Chelsea hierarchy are considering.
The USA international has impressed in front of the yellow wall in recent seasons. However, he’s never had his value to the club nailed down, as he’s failed to be a first team regular. This could hold the key to Borussia Dortmund’s stance.
Another factor that could determine whether or not Borussia Dortmund are willing to sell is Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi. Currently on loan to Borussia Dortmund, the Belgian talisman has impressed manager Peter Stoger, and it was reported the German club want to make the deal permanent.
According to
, Borussia Dortmund may be more inclined to sell Christian Pulisic, should Chelsea be willing to sell Michy Batshuayi.
Christian Pulisic is one of the most versatile attackers in the business currently. Having applied his trade in a number of positions for Dortmund this season, he’s still yet to hit the nail on the head to which position suits him most.
It seems certain he prefers to play as a winger, however he can also play further back in the midfield if necessary. His versatility could prove to be a key asset for Chelsea, as opposed to Michy Batshuayi who is an out-and-out striker.

Pulisic is much younger than Batshuayi, ageing at just nineteen years old. He has a lot of criticism coming his way, but that’s only because the high pedestal he’s been put on by American soccer fans. There’s no denying the starlet has plenty of time to adapt his game.
His stock-in-trade is his dribbling ability. This is something that Chelsea fans are accustomed to with Eden Hazard, so they’ll know just how important of an asset it can be. It still remains unclear whether Eden Hazard will jump ship in the summer, but if he does, Christian Pulisic will be excited to fill the boots, and if not, learn from one of the world’s best.
Chelsea will face competition from Bayern Munich. Borussia Dortmund have had bad experience in selling their star players to the Bavarians, so they’ll be reluctant to let Christian Pulisic join the list.
