Ben Davies-7

It was another rock steady performance for one of Tottenham’s most consistent players. The left-footed Welshman may not have played a starring role for Spurs, but he didn’t put a foot wrong once during the match.

Davies’ improvement this season has been nothing short of remarkable. He’ll never be a great athlete, but his ability to read the game helps make up for it. In particular, he played several really assertive challenges that kept Huddersfield from really troubling Lloris.

Serge Aurier-7.5

Full credit to Aurier for shaking of his worst match of the year and putting on a good show at Huddersfield. Not only did he manage to make his throw-ins correctly, but he also managed to execute several perfectly timed challenges.

Tottenham fans comparing Aurier to Walker in terms of athleticism are going to continue to be disappointed. He doesn’t have the City star’s pace. He does, however, feature more skill on the ball. He was a real threat in this match on the right wing. Aurier could have easily earned an assist to serve as the real high point for his match.
