Erik Lamela-6

Lamela had the tough job of replacing Son on the pitch and failed to live up to the Korean’s performance. He was his usual active self, but really didn’t make anything happen for the Tottenham offense.

He did manage to make a dazzling run into the box that resulted in a Spurs corner, but his inability to get a cross through may have cost Tottenham a goal. Lamela didn’t hurt his squad in this one, but he didn’t really help them either.

Moussa Sissoko-6.5

I was a bit surprised to see Sissoko come on for Dembele instead of Victor Wanyama. Despite my skepticism at the move, the Frenchman played pretty well during his brief time on the pitch.

He probably won’t ever justify his £30 million price tag, but he plays a meaningful role for this squad. The insertion of his energy and athleticism in the middle of the pitch helped Spurs win this match with ease.

Lucas Moura-5.5

Tottenham’s lone January addition didn’t have much time to really impact the match. Per usual, he threatened the defense with his pace, but none of his runs came to anything in this one.
