Win Out

Chelsea need to win the rest of their games. They currently sit on 63 points, 90 would be a good finish at the end of the season.  The truth is that it’s really their only choice. The matches against Manchester City and Manchester United recently shouldn’t have been as important as they were.

Chelsea made them though by dropping points during the season against teams that they should be handily beating. Poor losses to West Ham, Bournemouth, Watford, Burnley and Crystal Palace have put them in this scenario.

They should be sitting on 78 points at the moment which would actually have them tied with Manchester City if they just beat those teams that they should. They haven’t though and they’ve put the pressure on themselves. That’s their fault.  This Chelsea team will have to do the seemingly impossible for them so far and show some character during this end of season run-in.
