Tottenham suffered a crushing defeat against Juventus

For roughly an hour it looked that Tottenham were headed to a massive victory against Juventus on the grandest stage in football. Then, the Old Lady converted two goals with their only two shots on goal and things soured drastically for Spurs.

Mauricio Pochettino was complimentary of his team’s performance after the match, but neither he or his squad can afford to wallow in defeat. Now, Spurs have to learn from the Juventus debacle and put those lessons to work. As difficult as it is to imagine, Tottenham have to transition this profound disappointment to an immense positive.
