Shkodran Mustafi – 7/10

The German defender got the goal to break the deadlock. It was a trademark finish by him, as he loves getting on the end of Mesut Ozil’s set piece deliveries. He was without his accustomed defensive partner Laurent Koscielny, however he did well to see off pressure from Troy Deeney and co.

He did suffer a few injury knocks, which all amounted to him being taken off. If he can recover quickly, I expect him to play another huge part in Arsenal’s meeting with AC Milan next week.

Rob Holding – 7/10

The former Bolton man was the name on everybody’s lips heading into the fixture. With Calum Chambers impressing in recent weeks, he suffered a knock. Arsene Wenger decided to give Rob Holding a chance, and the defender didn’t let him down.

He certainly played his part in keeping the score at Arsenal 3-0 Watford. Doing his work in a quiet manner, he can go home tonight impressed with his performance.
