Granit Xhaka – 7/10

The Swiss international did what he does best, which is dictating play in the middle of the park. He often doesn’t get the praise he deserves, due to his role being rather out of the limelight. He complimented Mohamed Elneny well, as the two of them took turns to push forward and stick back.

The midfielder suffered a knock from none other than Troy Deeney late on, which he needed treatment for. The Gunners will hope his injury won’t rule him out of their game midweek.

Mohamed Elneny – 7/10

Mohamed Elneny was brought into the side ahead of Aaron Ramsey, who was rested with the AC Milan game in mind. He played well, having a lot of confidence to push forward and help the Arsenal front line.
