Moussa Sissoko-7.5

Lamela wasn’t the only Tottenham whipping boy who played well in this match. Sissoko also repaid Pochettino’s faith with a really solid effort in Spurs’ defensive midfield.

The Frenchman ended the match with an assist to his credit, but he was really influential in the second half. His piercing runs from deep really gave Swansea’s defense something extra to worry about. His end product didn’t match his willingness to run, but it was one of Sissoko’s best performances of the season.

Eric Dier-7

Dier played a very solid defensive match but it’s not as if Tottenham were ever under very much pressure. He deserves credit for doing his job, but the degree of difficulty on his performance was pretty low.

Still, he was steady enough to allow Pochettino to rest Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama for the entire match. That could be a real boost to Tottenham down the stretch of their Premier League campaign. It was a thoroughly solid, though unspectacular day for the English midfielder.
