Ben Davies-6.5

The Welshman never seemed to find his feet back in his home country. Tottenham didn’t really need him in this match, and he didn’t provide the club more or less than they needed.

He had a few memorable moments going forward, but the midfield really carried the offensive load. More troubling were the instances where he seemed to stumble when trying to stop the Swansea counter attack. He played the vast majority of this match off-balance. Spurs fans will hope it was just a slightly dodgy pitch.

Kieran Trippier-6

This was not a good performance for Tottenham’s right back. His club enjoyed the vast majority of possession and he still couldn’t manage to really provide any attacking width. When Trippier isn’t helping the Spurs attack, he’s a serious liability.

Fortunately, Swansea weren’t a side that could really trouble him down the flank. Trippier entered the match hoping to make a statement that he should be Tottenham’s first choice right back. He failed to place himself above Serge Aurier and that could really limit his playing time down the stretch.
