A Trivela not from the Right-wing: Besiktas vs Viktoria Plzen (August 5, 2010)

Quaresma is usually situated on the right-wing. There he can cut in to unleash a trademark trivela or cut towards the line to make a cross.

Here, in a Europa League qualifier against Viktoria Plzen for Besiktas, he finds himself in the center of the pitch. A collector’s item of a Quaresma trivela, he takes the ball with his back-to-goal, dribbles into the box and whips the ball into the back of the net with the outside of his foot. Only at the club for a couple months at that point, it took him no time at all to show off his trademark trivela.
