Striker-Heung-Min Son
Pochettino will watch Harry Kane closely during warmups, but don’t expect him to risk his English talisman with a start. Instead, Kane will lurk on the Spurs bench and hope to swoop in to win the match for his squad in the second half.
There is a chance that Son could be the better starter here. His pace will keep Chelsea’s back line pinned back during the match’s opening moments. That could help Tottenham get a real foothold to build from later in the match. One thing is for sure, Son will need to play a major role in this match if Tottenham are going to emerge with a win.
Keeper-Hugo Lloris
Tottenham’s advantage in possession usually means that Hugo Lloris isn’t called on very often. Expect the Frenchman to be busier than usual against the Blues.
Conte won’t start with a very aggressive starting XI, but Chelsea will have their chances to score. If Lloris can stand tall in goal on a couple of key occasions, it should allow Spurs every opportunity to gain all three points.
