Arsenal player ratings vs CSKA Moscow
By Kian Long
Arsenal took on CSKA Moscow at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinal.
The Gunners emerged victorious, courtesy of a 4-1 scoreline. While there were many standout performers, this post will run through my Arsenal player ratings vs CSKA Moscow.
Arsenal took the lead early on through Aaron Ramsey, after he scored an almost identical goal previously which was ruled offside. It was then Aleksandr Golovin who fired home an emphatic free-kick for the visitors.
Then, Arsenal won a penalty, which Alexandre Lacazette slotted home confidently. It was the same goalscorers who doubled the scoring for Arsenal before half time, and that’s how the scoreline remained.
Arsene Wenger’s men were eager to add to their tally, Aaron Ramsey in particular, but the second half was quite restrained. Still, 4-1 is an excellent result for a first leg, and it sets them up nicely for the second.
Without further ado, here are my Arsenal player ratings vs CSKA Moscow.
