Mohamed Elneny – 6/10
Mohamed Elneny played well when he was on, it’s just a shame that stupidity ruined his grade in these Arsenal player ratings vs Southampton. The Egyptian played a large number of cushioned passes in the centre of the park, but his anger got the better of him towards the end.
Granit Xhaka – 7/10
The Swiss international was on set-piece duty today, with the absence of Mesut Ozil. He played a number of good deliveries, and saw off pressure well from the Southampton midfielders.
