Striker-Harry Kane

It doesn’t matter whether or not you believe Kane has fully recovered from his ankle injury. Barring unforeseen disaster he will start this match. He means too much to his teammates from an emotional standpoint to leave on the bench.

Adrenaline should go a long way towards making sure Kane puts in an energetic performance. He, perhaps more than any other player in the squad, is desperate to win silverware in a Tottenham shirt. It would be a real surprise if he isn’t flying all over the pitch today in an effort to inspire his squad.

Keeper-Hugo Lloris

Pochettino has been coy about who will start at keeper in this match, but I think it’s just mind games. Leaving Lloris on the bench in such an important fixture would significantly damage the relationship between the two key Tottenham figures.

Perhaps if Michel Vorm were really willing to stay past this season he could force his way into consideration, but his mind seems to be made up. Lloris deserves the start due to his years of top-quality play for the club.
