Arsenal player ratings vs West Ham: Alexandre Lacazette to the rescue
By Kian Long
Arsenal have been impressive at home this season, and it didn’t change in today’s match with West Ham United.
The Gunners merged victorious over the Hammers by a scoreline of 4-1. It was an emotional day, as Arsene Wenger began his farewell tour. In true fashion, I will be running through my Arsenal player ratings vs West Ham.
It was a shaky start for Arsenal, which isn’t common for them at the Emirates. They managed to see through the first half, keeping the scoreline at 0-0. Then, coming out to the second half, Nacho Monreal got on the score-sheet with an impressive finish.
Marko Arnautovic was causing trouble to the Arsenal defense, and it soon prevailed as he pulled the game level. It took Arsenal a while to get back on track, but they got lucky with an Aaron Ramsey goal. Alexandre Lacazette put the icing on the cake as he scored a late brace.
This win will set Arsenal up nicely for their upcoming Europa League tie with Atletico Madrid. They were suffering a run of bad form, but with a weakened team, they turned it round today.
Without further ado, here are my Arsenal player ratings vs West Ham.
