2. Ben Davies-Chance of return-99%

You may not love Ben Davies, but he’s had an excellent year. Few fans would have predicted the Welshman could reach the level of play he’s displayed this season.

As such, he’s almost a lock to return next year. He isn’t good enough to agitate for a move to a bigger club, and he’s plenty good enough to fill a role in Pochettino’s squad. The real question is whether or not he’ll enter next season as the club’s unquestioned starter at left back.

I have my doubts about whether or not Davies can take another step forward, but it really doesn’t have to. A simple continuation of his current level of play is more than enough to keep him at the club.

There may not be any player with better odds to still be a member of the Tottenham first team next season. If Ben Davies isn’t still with Spurs next season, it will be an absolute shock to everyone associated with the club.
